Reporters, cameramen, journalists, social activists and representatives of human rights organizations are marching towards the representation of the government of Veracruz, in the central neighborhood of Juarez, in demand of justice for the murder of photojournalist Rubén Espinosa and the homicide of four women.
Gathered in the monument of the Angel of Independence, and armed with banners, black Mexican flags and white flowers, the protesters marched on Paseo de la Reforma toward the street of Marsella, towards the representation of the Veracruz government.
At the cry of "justice, justice" the members of this peaceful protest expressed that the practice of journalism and the freedom of expression are of "high risk".
Previously, on the steps of the Angel of Independence, a relative of Espinosa thanked his colleagues for their support, while Omar García, a representative of the Ayotzinapa students, expressed their solidarity with the professionals in journalism.
