Mexican actress and activist Yalitza Aparici o has become Dior Parfum’s latest ambassador.
After her debut in ROMA, a film director by Alfonso Cuarón, Yalitza became the first indigenous woman to be nominated to the Oscars. Since then, she became an outspoken feminist activist who fights for the rights of indigenous women and domestic workers.
In recent years, Yalitza has teamed up with the United Nations and Unicef to promote equality, diversity, and respect.

For her latest project, the activist joined Dior Parfum’s latest campaign, which is titled “ Dior Stands With Women ,” in collaboration with Charlize Theron.
For Yalitza, Dior’s campaign was an opportunity to “send the message that we don’t have to deny our origins, we don’t have to deny who were are to be accepted by society because society simply has to adapt to diversity.”

The actress also shared a video where she shares her journey against racism, abuse, and her role as an activist.
In an statement shared on social media, Dior Parfums said that:
“For several years now, Christian Dior Parfums has supported CTAOP (Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project), founded by Charlize Theron in 2007.
Today this charity commitment naturally meets #Diorstandswithwomen to promote the education and empowerment of young people thanks to the CTAOP Youth Leaders Scholarship.
For that, Christian Dior Parfums has made a commitment to cover the scholarships for the upcoming 2021 promotion, for a period of 4 years.”
