Will the government benefit from the accusations against Peña Nieto and Calderón?

By the time Lozoya made explosive claims against Peña Nieto, López Obrador made another former president feel uncomfortable. The President said that if Felipe Calderón knew about Genaro García Luna’s deals with the Sinaloa Cartel, he is guilty of a crime. Although the government received must criticism due to the COVID-19 death toll, the Peña Nieto and Calderón cases are a great distraction.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry was excited when Russia announced it has produced a vaccine against COVID-19. According to Russian authorities, Mexico is among the countries that will be able to acquire the vaccine once its effectiveness is confirmed. At the same tike, Mexico is participating in different clinical trials to find the best vaccine and has the money ready.
