Mexican Youtuber “ Werevertumorro ” did the impossible in the world championship of the videogame “ Fortnite ,” for he won third place in the tournament by defeating other celebrities and athletes.
With this, Gabriel Montiel , the real name of the influencer, won USD $250,000 according to the information published on IGN Latinoamérica , which he will donate to the foundation " Por los que no tienen voz ", as he announced through his Instagram account.
He also said that he teamed up with a professional gamer called “Jelty” to make history in one of the videogame tournaments with more money to give away this year, USD $30 million divided between all the competitors.
The two Mexicans did not win any game, however, thanks to the number of killings they got they obtained a high score , which made it possible for them to end in third place, over famous gamers like Ninja and Tfue .
The absolute winner of the event, and who took home the impressive amount of USD $3 million , was 16-years-old “ Bugha ,” who in the solo category breaking all predictions since he was not considered one of the favorites to achieve such a feat.
