In less than a week, the mural of the American illustrator Sarah Andersen , creator of the famous comic Sarah’s Scribbles , was vandalized in Mexico City streets.

It was just in January 29 when Andersen, who belongs to the Internet Walls project – endorsed by the Mexican company of digital design Pictoline – invited Mexicans in the capital through her Twitter account to take pictures at her mural that “is designed with a lot of poses in the hopes that people will try to pose alongside the character.”
However, this Monday, users reported through social networks that the illustrations, located in Merida street at the Roma neighborhood , had been vandalized with graffiti.

In this regard, Sarah Andersen mentioned that luckily “there is an anti-graffiti coat in the wall” that helps eliminate it more easily. However, this incident made users upset and some said such a thing was expected and that it had even lasted more than they had thought.
