Mexican
designer, Anuar Layón, presented his Spring-Summer 2019 collection titled “ The Simpsons X Anuar Layón ”, before an enthusiastic public, after the success of the iconic “ Mexico is the shit ” jacket.

Did you know there is a clutch with
emblazoned?
This collection, along with the one presented by Lorena Saravia , is being sold online through Amazon México.
The Simpsons X Anuar Layón was comprised of over 60 pieces, which included t-shirts, leather jackets, shorts, sweaters, and even handbags. The textile designs reflect an urban interpretation of the iconic show. Fine lines, stripes, and animal print stood out during the runway.
Have you heard of these
that will make you fall in love with fashion?
During a press conference, Anuar Layón said that over a year ago, his PR agency got a call from the mythical show's representatives: They asked him to develop a collection. “That was quite emotional for me because The Simpsons are obviously part of my life, and of the national culture. It's what I watched in the afternoons for many years. The show represents a whole generation. In Mexico , we tend to tropicalize things, and The Simpsons are one of those things we have tropicalized.”
For this collaboration, Anuar Layón was inspired by the influence the beloved yellow family has had in pop culture in Mexico , for decades: “It was a very friendly collaboration and the brand respected the creative process. It was very easy for me because everyone talks about The Simpsons in Mexico , and everyone tells you a phrase from the show. We're surrounded by its gags.”
