The good news is that in Mexico City there exist several platforms that offer boarding to dogs, cats, birds , and even plants ! They promise to take care of your pets for some hours to even days in comfortable lodgings , away from uncomfortable cages and mistreatment.

The animal hotel has a safe space in Cancún , where the quadrupeds can drain their energy and socialize. “The nursery ( MXN$150 for half a day, $180 for a whole day) opens Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 to 19:30hr, and it includes drinking water , private room with air conditioning , access to all the facilities and custom supervision . The hotel varies in prices” they explain in their site.
