and Alexis López won gold in the double LM2x race of the Pan American Qualification Regatta in Rio de Janeiro , with a time of 6: 35.90 minutes.
The Mexicans beat the Chileans César Abaroa and Eber Sanhueza, who finished with 6: 38.19 minutes, as well as the Argentinians Carlo Lauro and Alejandro Colomino, who finished with a record of 6: 46.27.
As for the women's performance, the Mexican team formed by Maite Arrillaga and Fernanda Ceballos , were second in the W2x test with a record of 8:00:45 minutes.
