The general delegate of Quebec in Mexico , Stéphanie Allard Gómez , claimed that many young Mexicans had enough talent and creativity for the videogame and animation industries , so they will be offered the opportunity to learn and work in the Canadian region.
The recruitment will be in the framework of the Pixelatl Fest, which will be held from from September 4 to 8 in Cuernavaca, Morelos . In past editions of the festival, the Canadian official was able to perceive the interest of Mexicans to get to know Quebec, which is why she considered this to be a great way to strengthen ties with the Latin American country .
In an interview with Notimex , she told of her arrival in the country during the month of October last year, where she found that, unfortunately, Mexico had a bad reputation in foreign countries. But the dynamic and creative character of young people attending the festival proved her wrong.

"What we are offering at the Pixelatl Fest are Quebec companies in the animation and videogames sector that are looking for talent. These temporary job offers last between one and three years , depending on the offer," she said.
Stéphanie Allard said that the opportunities would allow young Mexican people to gain experience in the field so that they might eventually apply it in Mexico.
She pointed out that Quebec ranks fifth in the world regarding the videogame and animation sectors , which have boomed in recent years and will continue to grow in the future; she claimed that the Mexican people were highly creative.
Finally, she invited Mexican creators with new ideas to attend the Pixelatl and talk with videogame developers to discuss career options in the videogame industry.
