The 30 minute documentary is part of the Río Grande, Río Bravo project , which aims to tell stories about the relationship between Mexico and the United States .
The Tribeca Film Festival , which starts on April 24, was founded by American actor Robert De Niro shortly after the attacks on the Twin Towers in 2001.
“The short is a portrait of two kitchens in twin restaurants. One is in San Francisco and the other in Mexico City ,” stated the producer Daniela Alatorre .
“The short seeks to offer a better understanding of cultural differences and the relationship between both countries by showing how both kitchen operate,” she added.
A Tale of Two Kitchens
