Through the years, she helped numerous players find their place in the Mexican Women’s Soccer League . Many of them have shown their condolences through social media, including her niece, Fabiola Ibarra, who currently plays with the Atlas F.C. Women’s Team .
“It pains me to know that you are no longer with us, and I will cherish every moment I have lived with you, as well as everything you did for me, for the rest of my life. I am forever grateful. You are the best friend, aunt, and coach that I ever had, and I love you very much,” wrote the forward player of Atlas on her Twitter account.
