Once again, Mexico has shown how talented its athletes are! This year, during the Lima 2019 Pan American Games , Mexico won 136 medals: 37 gold, 36 silver, and 63 bronze medals.
In Athletics , José Luis Santana Marín won silver, Juan Joel Pacheco Orozco won bronze at the Men's Marathon, Fernando Daniel Martínez Estrada won gold at the Men's 5000m category, and Risper Biyaki Gesabwa won silver at the Women's 10000m category. Moreover, José Carlos Villareal Peinado won gold at the Men's 1500m category, Paola Morán Errejón won silver at the Women's 400m category, Uziel Aarón Muñoz Galarza won bronze at the Men's Shot Put category, Laura Esther Galván Rodríguez won gold at the Women's 5000m category, and Roberto Vilches Ruisánchez won bronze at the Men's High Jump category.
