However, it is important not to collapse the healthcare system , therefore, Mexico City authorities have developed several tools such as an online COVID-19 test and an interactive map that will help you find the nearest hospital with beds available for patients with coronavirus .
You can fill out a test to find out if you might have COVID-19 and you can find a hospital treating COVID-19 patients .
In addition to these two tools, authorities added the feature to the CDMX app , which is available for iOS and Android users.

Through the app , you can use your GPS to find the closest COVID-19 hospital and find out if there are beds available. Moreover, the apps provide detailed information such as the hospital’s address, phone number, and the best route to get to the hospital.
According to official information, 54 hospitals in the metropolitan area are treating people infected with COVID-19: 39 in Mexico City and 15 in the state of Mexico.
