A group of Mexican businessmen have participated at the Intersolar Europe Fair , which took place in Munich, Germany, from June 18 to 22 .
Their side event called “Mexico’s Push for Solar: Business Opportunities for Solar Power Plants and Distributed Generation” took place on June 21 .

, director of Renewable Energies at Mexico’s Ministry of Energy (SENER) participated with a talk about new market frameworks. There was also a discussion about compensation schemes, profitability, and market development in Mexico. Some of the most important people from Mexico's renewable energy sector participated, including Arturo Duhart, head of the Distributed Generation Committee at the Mexican Solar Energy Association (ASOLMEX), Marian Aguirre, Sub-director of the Energy Sector Financing (BANCOMEXT), and Mario Monsreal, project manager at ProMéxico, Germany .
At the annual exhibition, entrepreneurs led by ProMéxico and their partners were able to interact with companies in the solar industry sector, as well as companies related to photovoltaic, solar thermal, solar plants, and network infrastructure for the integration of renewable energies.
The Ministry of Economy stated that the fair was aimed at installers and integrators, project developers, contractors, manufacturers and suppliers, dealers, energy consultants, investors and analysts, architects, energy planners, government officials, and decision makers.
They stressed that the fair would offer business contacts with manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors of photovoltaic and solar thermal energy services, systems providers, system integrators, project developers, and contractors.
Since its foundation 27 years ago , Intersolar has become the most important industrial platform for manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers, and partners in the solar industry worldwide.
