Iron Maiden
has announced the release of its new album "Nights Of The Dead - Legacy Of The Beast, Live In Mexico City" next November 20. The double album was recorded in Mexico City in 2019 as the result of three concert nights.
Their record house added that there will be more than 100 minutes of the band’s greatest hits from their tour “ Legacy Of The Beast ” which they began in 2018 and that will conclude next Summer in Europe, after the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’d been really looking forward to bringing the show to even more countries and although we’ve been able to reschedule most of our European own-shows for 2021, we thought we’d take a listen to the recordings from the tour so far and see if we could create a definitive live album souvenir that everyone, everywhere could enjoy,” as explained by bassist Steve Harris in a press release.
The album will be available in a double CD edition, a Deluxe edition, and a triple vinyl set.
" Nights Of The Dead - Legacy Of The Beast, Live In Mexico City " will join the long tradition of Iron Maiden’s albums that currently goes from “Live After Death" (1985) to “The Book Of Souls: Live Chapter" (2017).
