We've been listening to the name of Tim Burton a lot lately after the filmmaker visited our country to open his exhibition at the Franz Mayer Museum .
However, this isn't the only exhibition dedicated to him. You can also see the art Tim Burton's works have inspired – for free. You can see 20 Stainboy figures – one of the first characters created by Tim Burton and contained in the book “The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy.”

This exhibition is located along Paseo de la Reforma , close to the Angel of the Independence and you can watch it until January 8, 2018 .
The 20 figures were intervened by several Mexican artists, who decided to give their special touch to the character.
You can also take a look at the photographic exhibition “ Around the World with Tim Burton ,” which includes photographs by Leah Gallo, who has worked with the filmmaker in films such as “Sweeny Todd,” “Alice in Wonderland,” and "Frankenweenie.” This exhibition closes on January 1.
