Over 50 Mexican photographers who participated in Mexico's Modern Photography Contest will display their works at the exhibition “ FOCO MX ", opening this May 12 at the Photography Museum Cuatro Caminos, according to Guadalupe Lara, General Manager of the museum.
During a press conference, Lara pointed out this photography contests is one of the largest of its kind in the country, because of the number of participants and the amount of works submitted, thus, “FOCO MX” is the largest exhibition in Mexico.
This photography exhibition is the result of the collaboration between the contest organizers and Luz del Norte, a project from Monterrey.
“The photos displayed are the result of the third photography contest held by this organization and allow us to see Mexican photography today has reached a powerful level,” said Lara.
