Finland: Police shoot man after stabbing several people

The Finnish police declared that a man who was suspected of stabbing several people was shot in the tight in the southwestern city of Turku .

Public television station YLE reported that several people were lying on the ground in the city center.

On Twitter, Police urged to avoid that part of Turku.

Tabloid Ita-Sanomat declared that a man and six women, including a woman with a stroller, were attacked by a man with a large knife.

, Petri Virolainen confirmed that at least eight people had been sent with injuries, two people had died, and the rest were in stable condition.

The Police arrested a suspect and they are searching for other possible perpetrators .

The authorities have confirmed that the suspect is of foreign origin , yet it is not clear whether the event was related to terrorism .
