Conservatives vs. Jorge Volpi
We’ve been told that the head of Cultural Promotion Coordination at the UNAM , Jorge Volpi , and a female colleague have been affected by a dirt campaign . In a letter, a group of women is accusing him of harassment and of using his position to benefit women in exchange for sexual favors . However, an alleged victim is actually being victimized by the other women, who argue that she does not have the necessary ability to access a higher position at work. The woman herself has voiced outrage and condemned the sexist claims made by female colleagues . In this case, we’ve been told that this has perhaps orchestrated by conservative groups inside the UNAM.
