Apple
donated an iOS Development Lab to the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México abbreviated UNAM ) on the 40th anniversary of the Computer Engineering Major ( 1977- 2017 ).
The laboratory is located on the ground floor of the building P Luis G. Valdés Vallejo at the Engineering Faculty ( Facultad de Ingeniería abbreviated FI ), and it is identical from floor to ceiling to other Apple laboratories in the world since it has a similar computer equipment, space design, and furniture. The particular design facilitates the collaborative participation but respects individuality as well.
In the new iOS Development Lab, UNAM students will learn how to develop applications ( apps ) for cell phones using Apple technology .
This is the third laboratory in the country, UNAM's Faculty of Accounting and Management ( Facultad de Contaduría y Administración abbreviated FCA ) and the University of the Americas , in Puebla have similar laboratories respectively.
