Ambassadors tremble with fear over pay cuts

We're told that some ambassadors have expressed their concerns about the possibility of a decrease in their salaries . They consider there's a wrong perception that they earn as much as high-ranking officials . They affirm that while most of them have a decent salary , it's not excessive compared to what some of their colleagues from smaller economies earn . Meanwhile, we're told that many of them are updating their résumés in case they need to migrate to the private sector.
