The parents of the 43 Ayotzinapa students met with the President-elect, Andrés Manuel López Obrador , this morning, to discuss the creation of a t ruth and justice commission for the Iguala case, and announced that they will request help from international experts.
The meeting was also attended by the future Internal Affairs Minister, Olga Sánchez Cordero , and the incoming Human Rights Deputy Minister, Alejandro Encinas , as well as the National Human Rights Commission director (CNDH), Luis Raúl González Pérez .
Upon his arrival, Vidulfo Rosales, the families' lawyer , said that they are looking for López Obrador to commit with the creation of the truth and justice commission , four years after the students' disappearance .

said that there are positive signs that indicate that there will be justice during the future President's administration.
“There are certain expectations, positive signs, and it'll depend on this meeting, we'll wait and see”, he said.
Before the meeting, Olga Sánchez Cordero said that López Obrador has ordered to uncover the truth regarding the Iguala case.
“We will get to the truth , it's a commitment . The President wants to meet the parents, in person, he wants to be close, he wants to be beside them”, she said.
After the meeting, the parents will carry out a demonstration at 4:00 pm, starting at the Ángel de la Independencia to the Zócalo.
