Avianca cancels flights due to crisis in Venezuela

The airline Avianca , the national airline and flag carrier of Colombia , announced this Wednesday the suspension of flights to Venezuela from Peru and Colombia , this measure will come into effect on Agust 16 , according to the statement of the Colombian company.

“Before the difficulties faced on the air operation in Venezuela, Avianca will no longer operate the routes Bogotá-Caracas-Bogotá and Lima-Caracas as of Agust 16, 2017 … in consequence the airline suspends from today (Wednesday) the sale of tickets to subsequent flights on this routes,” informs the document.
