The Mexicans Rommel Pacheco and Viviana del Ángel won silver medal in the Team event competition of the diving events (3 m/10 m) of the World Aquatics Championship held in Budapest on Tuesday.
The Mexican pair scored 402,35 points , four below the French Laura Marino and Matthieu Rosset , new world champions (406,40), while the Americans Krysta Palmer and David Dinsmore won the bronze (395,90).
The Colombians Carolina Murillo and Sebastián Villa finished in the seventh position (354,90), just behind China (355,15), the country that has dominated until now the diving events in this world championship held in the Hungarian capital.
Eighth (out of 9 participants in the final) finished the representatives of Venezuela: María Betancurt and Jesús Liranzo (349,75).
This mixed team event is part of the World Swimming Championship since Kazan 2015.
