Los Tequileros
is a criminal group created as one of the armed branches of the Guerreros Unidos Cartel in the state of Guerrero. They are involved in kidnapping, collecting of fees and extortion.
Three members of this group, one of them being the main operator of the gang , allegedly linked to the aggression to agents of the Attorney General's Office (PGR) on June 19, were arrested by elements of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) in the state of Morelos .
Agents followed closely the operations of this criminal cell, identified as the responsible for the death of three AIC agents in La Gavia, Guerrero , and resulted in the detention of Pedro "N," El Carpi, identified as the principal operator of Raybel Jacobo de Almonte , aka El Tequilero , leader of the group of kidnappers and extortioners.
According to intelligence reports, El Tequilero was the one who ordered Pedro "N" to execute kidnappings, extortion, homicides, and collection of fees to public servants and merchants of the area.
After the confrontation, El Carpi took refuge in the mountains and moved to Temixco, Morelos , to receive economic support from El Tequilero .

Together with El Carpi , Venancio "N" , alias Severo , and Magdaleno "N" were arrested. They served as armed agents of the " Tequila Forces" and provided protection to relatives and operators of the leader of Los Tequileros in Morelos.
The detainees were carrying doses of methamphetamine.
The PGR reported that the arrests were carried out without a single shot .
