The Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Luis Videgaray Caso, begins this Wednesday a working tour in Dallas, Texas, where he will meet people in charge of 11 Mexican Consulates and representatives of civil rights organizations.
Videgaray will analyze with the Consuls in Texas the proceedings of consular protection provided by the Mexican government to fellow countrymen that live in that state and will also plan jointly a strategy to face the actions that could have negative implications for the Mexican migrant community.
Afterward, the Mexican Secretary will get together with representatives of civil rights organizations in order to dialogue and share good practices in the face of the current immigration policy.
Meanwhile, Videgaray will travel tomorrow to Washington D.C. to attend a meeting regarding security issues between the two countries.
