U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to begin the construction of the border wall between the United States and Mexico, according to the Associated Press and CNN.
The executive order calls for a "large physical barrier" between the two countries.
“Building this barrier is more than just a campaign promise. This will stem the flow of drugs, crime, illegal immigration into the United States” Press Secretary Sean Spicer said.
Spicer also said that “Mexico will pay for the wall one way or another.”
