A young woman from the Gustavo A. Madero area of Mexico City claims to have found her boyfriend's lifeless body after throwing him out of her home the night before.
According to preliminary reports, neighbors found the man lying face down in the middle of the street.
After approaching the man, several neighbors noticed that the man was unresponsive and bleeding, and immediately notified authorities.
With the sounds of police sirens, many more neighbors approached the scene of the crime, including the man's girlfriend, to see what had happened.
Once a few feet away, the young woman identified her boyfriend, who she says goes by the name of Carlos and was 29 years old.
According to the young woman, she threw him out of her house after a heated argument.
Paramedics confirmed the man's death, and say he apparently received several blows and showed signs of a gunshot wound to his head.
According to Mexico City's chief prosecutor, it's currently being investigated whether Carlos died after getting into a fight with people from the area. However, several neighbors claim to have heard no commotion, yells or suspicious sounds at the presumed time of the murder.
