Mexican president, Enrique Peña Nieto, personally congratulated Colombia's president, Juan Manuel Santos, for winning the Nobel Peace Prize, as well as the Colombian people for setting an example in democratic in a peace accord with the FARC.
During his visit to Colombia. Peña Nieto highlighted the unwavering fight, permanent struggle and firm political will in reaching the peace accord.
At the signing of several accords and documents between both countries, Mexico's president said that his country reiterates its support in standing by president Santos' peace effort.
Peña Nieto also congratulated the Colombian people for setting an example for the rest of the hemisphere by finding peace through democratic means.
He concluded by alluding to the problems both countries face in terms of organized crime and transnational organizations that operate in both countries.
