Six people abducted and killed in Mazatlán

Six bodies were found Sunday dumped outside a private medical clinic in the Pacific coast resort city of Mazatlán in the Sinaloa state.

According to the authorities, the victims died of asphyxiation and were found with their heads wrapped in duct tape and hands and feet tied.

Based on initial reports, three were abducted from a shopping mall on Saturday by armed men, and the other three were kidnapped from a street in front of their home.

The five men and the woman were identified by the authorities as Alfredo “N”, Sotera “N”, Raúl “N”, Miguel Ángel “N”, Gilberto “N” and César “N”.
