Local official killed in Nezahualcoyótl, State of Mexico

Carolina López Zamudio, deputy director of expenses in the municipality of Nezahualcoyótl, State of Mexico, was killed this morning in what seems like a robbery attempt.

According to preliminary reports, the woman was on board a truck driven by her brother when they were attacked by the presumed assailant, who apparently wanted to steal the vehicle.

The authorities have pointed out that her brother survived.
