The Guadalajara soccer club launched its project “Chivas TV” to stream matches online.
The announcement was made on social networks by Jorge Vergara, owner of Chivas, José Luis Higuera, CEO of Grupo Omnilife-Chivas and Matías Almeyda, coach of the Guadalajara. two days after the team failed to renew its contract with Televisa, owner of the rival team América.
Chivas TV would give fans the option to buy a single match or the full season.

Higuera also announced that the Guadalajara will no longer play as local on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. and made an online survey to know the time that its fans would prefer.
