A 60-year-old man, from Baja California, was arrested by municipal police officers for allegedly sexual molesting a 7-year-old indigenous child, who works as a shoe polisher in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas.
The arrest occurred in the main park when several people noticed that the man was touching the boy's face, legs and genitals.
The detainee, who identified himself as Adolfo Sainz Bernaldez from Ensenada, Baja California, was made available to the Municipal Police department.
The father of 7-year-old boy arrived minutes later to the police department to file a lawsuit against Sainz.
