Governor Héctor Astudillo Flores said that during a blockade by transporters and inhabitants of the Sierra area last Thursday, there was a strong presence of the organized crime.
Interviewed this morning before entering his office in Chilpancingo, Astudillo was confronted by the press about the accusations of the protesters about the disappearance of their colleagues and relatives.
"The mobilization was something wrong, it wasn't a simple thing. The organization for the blockade is without precedent. It was projected and blocked the motorway in three places. By the circumstances and all that was found, like the stolen cars, weapons, grenades, there is a probable involvement of organized crime," he said.
Regarding the whereabouts of the President of the Union of Permit Holders of the Sierra of the State of Guerrero, Servando Salgado Guzmán, the Governor denied that he was arrested.
"I know that there is an arrest order. He was at the blockade and left, but he was not arrested," he said.
Regarding the accusations that some of the participants in the blockade are missing, Astudillo said that there "there are no missing people, they are detainees."
