Two killed in shooting in Acapulco

Two men were killed and another one wounded in a shootout in the area known as "La Angosta" beach in Acapulco, a place widely visited by tourists.

The victims were attacked by several armed individuals around 6:00 p.m. After the attack, the assassins left on a vehicle.

Two of the victims died in situ while the other was taken to a hospital in Acapulco.

The attack happened nine hours after two young men in hoodies killed the head of the Water Commission in Ciudad Renacionamiento, Arquémides Guzmán Cisneros, and his area coordinator, Jorge Trujillo Acevedo, even while a security operation was in place due to the Easter vacation.
