Antonio Tizapa, one of the parents of the 43 Mexican students who disappeared in September 2014, returned to the New York marathon to call attention to the case and demand justice.
Tizapa participated in the half marathon Sunday, after having completing the past marathon in November, promoting the same cause.
As on that occasion, the father of Jorge Antonio Tizapa Legideño counted with other athletes who wore t-shirts with slogans about the case.
Tizapa, as said in a statement, wants to demand the return of his son and the rest of the disappeared and denounce "the chain of impunity that has marked the history of Mexico".
