Officials from Mexico and the United States met at the main premises of the Office of the Attorney General of Mexico in order to address issues pertaining extradition and bi-national legal assistance.
Mexican Attorney General Arely Gómez met with Deputy Assistant Attorney Kennet Blanco, and Deputy Attorney General Bruce Swartz, according to the PGR.
Gómez was accompanied by Gustavo Salas Chávez, prosecutor for the Office on Special Investigations on Organized Crime (SEIDO), Jaime Chávez, Coordinator for International Affairs, and José Manuel Merino Madrid, General Director for International Procedures.
Magdalena Boynton, Associate Director of the Office of International Affairs and Ray Gattinella, representative of the Office of Development of Systems of Administration of justice of the DOJ, also participated in the meeting.
