Massive fire in a container company in the State of Mexico

A container company was almost devoured by a fire in the area of the office of the mayor of Melchor Ocampo, a municipality in the State of Mexico.

But, the local firemen, supported by the squads from the municipalities of Cuautitlán Izcalli and Tultepec helped to extinguish the fire.

The fire was caused by the fireworks thrown during the carnival of the town of Visitación, which fell in the container area and ignited rolls of fiberglass.

At 6:35 p.m. the fire was visible from several miles around, just when the fire squads arrived.

This is the fourth fire in that area on a Sunday, after more than two hectares of dry grass and garbage presented a risk to the vehicles driven nearby just last week.
