Brother-in-law of "El Mencho" is detained in a hospital in Jalisco

Elvis González Valencia, brother-in-law of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes "El Mencho," leader of the Cartel of Jalisco New Generation, is currently under heavy security in a hospital located in the city-limits between Zapopan and Guadalajara.

Sources of the Office of the Attorney General (PGR) confirmed that González, brother of Abigael González Valencia, is injured and watched over by federal and state authorities, as well as the military.

Abigael González Valencia has been identified as the leader of "Los Cuinis" and a partner of "El Mencho". He was arrested last February 28 and is currently in the El Altiplano maximum security prison in the State of Mexico.

Recently, the Government of the United States, through the Office of Foreign Assets Control, included Abigael González in its special list.

"Los Cuinis" and Nueva Generación have expanded their operations in Mexico and on the international level, taking synthetic drugs to the U.S., European and Asian markets.
