Seven policemen arrested over disappearance of five people in Veracruz

Veracruz authorities have arrested seven policemen over the disappearance of four men and one underage woman on January 11.

Luis Angel Bravo Contreras, Attorney General of Veracruz, informed that there are two ongoing operations to find José Benítez de la O, Mario Arturo Orozco, Alfredo González Díaz, Bernardo Benítez Arroniz and Susana Tapia Garribo, who were arrested by ministerial police officers in Tierra Blanca and were allegedly handed over to a criminal gang.

He added that authorities now have more information about the case.
