Mexico's National Council to Prevent Discrimination (CONAPRED) will investigate the racist allegations against Colombian player Carlos Darwin Quintero, striker of the América, during a match against Pumas on September 6.
Allegedly Darío Anastacio Verón Maldonado, Pumas' captain, called Quintero an ape.
Conapdred added that it will not make any statements until the investigation concludes.
