An operator of the Beltrán Leyva Cartel was arrested this weekend in the municipality of San Pedro in Nuevo León by elements of Mexico's Navy.
He is accused of murder, extortion and drug trafficking in the state.
“El Cochi”, as the criminal is known, was arrested at Santa Engracia neighbhorhood.
El "Comandante 19", as he is also known, was taken along with seven other people to the Assistant Attorney General's Office for Special Investigations on Organized Crime (SEIDO).
