Mexican comedian Javier López, better known as "Chabelo", has confirmed the end of his long running TV on YouTube,
"Everything in life is cyclical, with a beginning and an ending. 'En Familia con Chabelo' began 48 years ago with a format that few believed was going to last," expressed "Chabelo" with his kid voice.
"After 48 years all I can do is say 'thank you' to Mr. Emilio Azcárraga Milmo, may he rest in peace, for giving me the opportunity to begin this show," expressed López.
The Mexican actor, born in Chicago in 1935, also said that when a cycle ends, another one begins, and asked the audience to be with him as soon as he finds out what is coming next for him.
"I thank God for allowing me to enter your homes every eight days, Sunday to Sunday. Thank you for the chance to be part of your history and you for being part of mine," expressed 'Chabelo'.
"Chabelo," the character, is supposed to be a boy under ten years of age, albeit one extremely tall. The character has been featured in other TV shows and movies, always presenting himself as a kid, even when López is 80 years old.
