Non-governmental organizations against violence against women march on Reforma Avenue towards Mexico City's main square known as Zócalo.
With banners that read “Zero tolerance for violence against women” and T-shirts that read “More love, zero violence”, the demonstrators, among them congressman César Camacho, a member of the ruling Institutional Revolutionary Pary (PRI) and Carmen Salinas, actress and legislator, handed leaftlets to passerby.
Drivers can use Circuito Interior, Izazaga, Chapultepec Avenue, San Pablo, Eje 1 Oriente and Eje 1 Norte as an alternative.
