Strong rains over Mexico City

Strong rains were recorded over the districts of Cuauhtémoc and Miguel Hidalgo, in Mexico City, with hail also being reported.

According to the National Water Commission (Conagua) there is an electrical storm over Mexico City and the State of Mexico.

There is also rain over Tlalpan, Coyoacán, Iztapalapa, Azcapotzalco, Iztacalco, Venustiano Carranza and Gustavo A. Madero.

Meanwhile, the Department of Public Security of Mexico City reported traffic problems in the Mexico-Tacuba and Marina Nacional roads.

There were also floods reported in the eastern areas of Mexico City.

Also, the head of the firefighters corps, commander Raúl Esquivel, reported the fall of five trees due to the heavy rains.
