Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto met in Los Pinos with the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, in order to discuss the bilateral agenda, migration, security, energy and education, as well as border issues.
The meeting took place during the visit of the Governor to Mexico, heading a representation of officials and business leaders, in order to increase the relation with Mexico and talk about bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, Peña Nieto talked with Abbott regarding the contributions of the Mexican community in the U.S. and pointed out at the need for a better integration of the immigrant community in Texas.
They both talked about the importance of working together in order to better secure the border and the development of infrastructure projects to ease the commercial processes.
