The Mexican Minister of the Interior, Miguel Angel Osorio Chong, expressed that U.S. Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump is ignorant about the contribution of Mexicans to the aggrandizement of the United States.
He indicated that Trump's sayings about Mexicans are derived from his ignorance about what Mexicans in particular have done to his country.
"He doesn't know the work, the effort put by Mexicans who maybe are unable to achieve it in their country and have to go to the United States. Surely his ignorance has resulted in these pathetic speeches not only against Mexicans but against immigrants from other countries," expressed Osorio Chong.
In his declarations before the Senate, in the framework of the glosses of the III Government Report from President Enrique Peña Nieto, Osorio Chong said that the Government of Mexico will always disagree with any actions against immigrants.
