The Minister of Health, Mercedes Juan, reported that the six Mexican tourists wounded in an attack in Egypt are in delicate, but stable condition and were taken to the National Institute of Rehabilitation to receive care.
At a press conference, Juan pointed out that they present abrasions, fractures and burns, and their wounds were mostly caused by shrapnel.
"First, I would like to present my condolences to the families of those who died in this tragic attack," expressed Juan.
The minister added that two of the wounded present pleural effusion due to the explosions during the attack, and two more sensitive individuals present an exposed femoral fracture and other presents diabetes, but is now under control.
The wounded were taken to the National Institute or Rehabilitation on board five helicopters.
