Chivas confirms Matías Almeyda as its new coach

Chivas confirmed that Matías Almeyda will be its new coach following the departure of José Manuel de la Torre.

The former soccer player from Argentina coached Club Atlético River Plate and Club Atlético Banfield.

Ramoncito Morales, the team's interim coach, will be in charge of today's match against Morelia's Monarcas at Omnilife stadium.
