95 undocumented migrants from Guatemala were rescued in Veracruz, where they were abandoned inside two cargo vans.
Authorities located the two vehicles abandoned on the La Tinaja-Cosamaloapan highway in the municipality of Cotaxtla.
When police units approached, they heard people knocking on the metal box and crying for help, so they proceeded to open the vehicles.
74 men, 16 women and 5 children were found inside the vehicles, showing signs of dehydration.
The National Migration Institute (INM) reported that the undocumented migrants are in good health and will be sent back to their country of origin.
